Our Commitment

MSI Benefits Group is committed to providing digital experiences that are accessible to people with disabilities.

We are working to maintain our public website and MSI-controlled areas of the Client Portal in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As websites, documents, technology and accessibility standards evolve, MSI will continue reviewing and improving the accessibility of the digital resources we control.

Scope

This Accessibility Statement applies to:

  • The MSI Benefits Group public website

  • MSI-controlled areas of the Client Portal

  • Digital content and documents created and maintained directly by MSI Benefits Group

Some benefit-related content available through MSI is created or maintained by third parties, including insurance carriers, benefit vendors and enrollment technology providers. See Third-Party Content and Services below for additional information.

Our Accessibility Approach

MSI incorporates accessibility considerations into the design, development and maintenance of its public website and MSI-controlled areas of the Client Portal.

Our accessibility efforts include support for:

  • Keyboard-only navigation

  • Screen readers and other assistive technologies

  • Text-size and readability adjustments

  • Color and contrast adjustments

  • Focus indicators and navigation assistance

  • Accessible labels for interactive elements

  • Responsive access across desktop, tablet and mobile devices

MSI also conducts accessibility reviews of digital content it creates and maintains.

Our public website is evaluated using automated accessibility testing along with functional review of accessibility features, including keyboard navigation and other accessibility considerations. Automated testing is a useful part of this process but may not identify every accessibility issue. MSI therefore uses additional review and remediation as appropriate to help identify and address accessibility barriers.

Downloadable Documents

MSI makes a variety of benefits-related documents available through its Client Portal.

Documents created directly by MSI are reviewed as part of our accessibility program, and accessible versions may be provided where needed.

Many plan documents, certificates, claim forms, Summaries of Benefits and Coverage, brochures and similar materials are created and supplied by insurance carriers and other benefit vendors. MSI does not control the original design or accessibility of those third-party documents.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier in a downloadable document, please contact us. We will work to assist you in obtaining the information in an accessible format or, when appropriate, work with the provider responsible for the document to address the accessibility concern.

Third-Party Content and Services

MSI’s websites and Client Portal may provide access to content, applications or services maintained by third parties.

These may include:

  • Insurance carrier documents and websites

  • Benefit-provider materials

  • Pharmacy benefit resources

  • Enrollment platforms

  • External applications and services

MSI does not control the accessibility of third-party websites, applications or documents. We encourage our technology, carrier and benefit partners to maintain accessible digital experiences.

If an accessibility issue involving third-party content or services is reported to us, MSI will work to assist the individual in obtaining the information in an accessible format or, when appropriate, work with the applicable provider regarding the accessibility concern.

Online enrollment services may be provided through third-party benefits administration platforms. Accessibility policies for those platforms are maintained by the applicable provider.

Alternative Access and Assistance

Technology alone cannot address every individual’s accessibility needs.

If you have difficulty accessing information, completing a benefits-related task or using any portion of an MSI-controlled digital resource, please contact us. MSI personnel can assist in obtaining information through an alternative format or method when appropriate.

Reporting an Accessibility Barrier

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of MSI’s digital resources.

If you experience an accessibility problem, please provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • The webpage, document or resource involved

  • A brief description of the problem

  • The assistive technology or browser you were using, if applicable

  • Your preferred method of contact

Ongoing Review

MSI views accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.

We will review this statement, our digital properties and internally produced content at least annually and as appropriate when material changes occur, taking into account changes in technology, accessibility standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
